NOTICE TO CITIZENS OF DORCHESTER COUNTY: Pursuant to the South Carolina Eminent Domain Procedure Act, Section 28-2-70(c), Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, as amended, notice is hereby given that entry by personnel of, or working under contract with, Dorchester County (County) will be made in the area of the road(s) described below for such purposes as topographic surveys, subsurface exploration, environmental related studies and for the gathering of any other data necessary for the planning, design, property acquisition and construction of a roadway improvement project. Surveys for the project will be conducted on the following road(s) as described: 

  • SC 165 (Delemar Highway) between S-84 (Clubhouse Road) and Ashley Ridge High School, including up to 500 feet in either direction on intersecting roadways 
  • Clubhouse Road approximately 1,250 feet in either direction from the intersection with Delemar Highway 

The project involves road widening and intersection improvements, and improvements to bicycle and pedestrian accommodations. This project is made possible by the Dorchester County Transportation Sales Tax Program. NOTICE TO CITIZENS OF DORCHESTER COUNTY: Pursuant to the South Carolina Eminent Domain Procedure Act, Section 28-2-70(c), Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, as amended, notice is hereby given that entry by personnel of, or working under contract with, Dorchester County (County) will be made in the area of the road(s) described below for such purposes as topographic surveys, subsurface exploration, environmental related studies and for the gathering of any other data necessary for the planning, design, property acquisition and construction of a roadway improvement project. Surveys for the project will be conducted on the following road(s) as described: 

  • S-377 (Miles Jamison Road) between S-199 (Old Trolley Road) and S-230 (Ladson Road), including up to 700 feet in either direction on intersecting roadways 
  • S-199 (Old Trolley Road) up to 1,100 feet south of the intersection with Miles Jamison Road, and up to 550 feet north of the intersection 
  • S-339 (Gahagan Road) up to 1,400 feet north of the intersection with Miles Jamison Road  
  • Wellborn Boulevard up to 950 feet east of the intersection with Miles Jamison Road and Ladson Road  

The project involves road widening and intersection improvements, and improvements to bicycle and pedestrian accommodations. Surveys for the project will be conducted on the following road(s) as described: 

  • S-9 (Stallsville Loop) between Long Needle Lane and S-199 (Old Trolley Road), including up to 200 feet in either direction on intersecting roadways 
  • S-199 (Old Trolley Road) from approximately 500 feet north of Stallsville Loop to approximately 1000 feet south of Stallsville Loop 

The survey limits will also include approximately 3.5 acres in the southwest corner of the intersection of Stallsville Loop at Old Trolley Road.

  • Up to 2000 feet in either direction on the following roadways intersecting US Highway 17A: SC Highway 61, Beech Hill Road, Summers Drive, SC 642 (Dorchester Road), S-13 (Central Avenue), S-22 (Orangeburg Road), and Tupperway Drive

The project involves the construction of a new roadway alignment between Linger Longer Drive and Headwaters Drive. NOTICE TO CITIZENS OF DORCHESTER COUNTY: Pursuant to the South Carolina Eminent Domain Procedure Act, Section 28- 2-70(c), Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, as amended, notice is hereby given that entry by personnel of, or working under contract with, Dorchester County (County) will be made in the area of the roads described below for such purposes as topographic surveys, subsurface exploration, environmental related studies and for the gathering of any other data necessary for the planning, design, property acquisition and construction of multiple bridge replacement projects. The bridges to be replaced are located at the following road and stream crossings: Deer Run Road over Rumphs Hill Creek, near Hunters Creek Road and Alexis Court Summers Drive over an unnamed tributary of the Ashley River, north of Beech Hill Road Pointer Drive over an unnamed tributary of Dorchester Creek, near Grouse Road and Wellington Road The projects involve the replacement of these existing County-maintained bridges with new structures. These projects are made possible by the Dorchester County Transportation Sales Tax Program and the Dorchester County Stormwater Management Program.
